Margery O’Donnell

Margery O’Donnell joined the Council in April 2008 and currently serves as Executive Coordinator in the Council’s Boston office.

Prior to joining the Council, Margery served as Director of Africa Programs at the Center for Democracy and Development at UMass Boston (UMB).  She served in this capacity for 10 of her 15 years at UMB.  During her time there she implemented a range of social and economic development projects and partnerships in several African countries, receiving UMB’s first State Department and first USAID grants, totaling $4 million.  During her working career and prior to Margery’s stint at UMB, she was an administrative assistant for CEOs of major companies in the Boston area.

Majoring in History with a minor in Political Science, Margery holds a Bachelor of Arts from UMass Boston.
