Fallon Health Names Johns Hopkins Adjunct as Director
NEC member Fallon Health has appointed Alice Bonner of Johns Hopkins University as its newest board member. Bonner is a geriatric nurse practitioner and is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Community Aging in Place- Advancing Better Living for Elders (CAPABLE) program.
Bonner is also an adjunct faculty member for the Johns Hopkins nursing school and has over 25 years of experience in creating and refining age-friendly health systems. Bonner is a senior advisor for aging and the Institute of Health Improvement, a nonprofit located in Boston. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and society from Cornell University, her bachelor’s in nursing from UMass Lowell and her doctorate in nursing from UMass Medical School. She has also served as Secretary of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs and Director of the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Nursing Division.
