Mayor Wu and Boston Cultural Institutions launch BPS Sundays
Mayor Michelle Wu, in partnership with six Boston cultural institutions, including New England Council members the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Science, and the New England Aquarium, announced the launch of BPS Sundays following Wu’s State of the City Address. BPS Sundays will allow Boston Public School students and their families free admission to the Boston’s Children’s Museum, the Franklin Park Zoo, the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Science, and the New England Aquarium. on the first two Sundays each month starting in February.
This partnership is meant to continue Mayor Wu’s goal of making Boston a more family-friendly city. “In our hands is the ability to show our students the world,” said Wu. “What we also have is the opportunity for students to bond with their families – allowing for parents, grandparents, and siblings to create irreplaceable memories.”
The New England Council commends Mayor Wu and these cultural institutions for their partnership in launching this great program.
