Nichols College gifted $1M anonymous donation for data science studies
New England Council member, Nichols College recently received a $1 million donation from an anonymous donor. The donation will be used to advance data science studies on the Dudley campus. The gift marks Nichols’ first major donation since the resignation of its former president, Glenn Sulmasy, last fall.
Nichols will utilize the funding for its various data science initiatives, including training on specialized software and robotic process automation and solving business challenges for local organizations. Nichols offers a graduate degree in data analytics and various data science courses as part of its MBA program.
“I am immensely grateful to the donor, not only for his generosity but for his foresight in recognizing the impact this gift will have on educating the next generation of professionals,” said interim president of Nichols, Bill Pieczynski in a press release.
The New England Council would like to congratulate Nichols College for receiving this generous donation.
